Playing along with Her Library Adventures meme this week. Head there to see other fthrifted finds. I picked up a set of 3 melamine cups and saucers for $5. They will be perfect for picnics. There is something special about those deco-esque handles... they remind me of Dame Edna. They have found their way onto these almost overcrowded blue-green-duck-egg themed kitchen shelves. This little corner in my kitchen makes me pretty happy.
We all know why you bought them love... you have a problem. ;)
ReplyDeleteI just adore the cups - and that cute space in your kitchen..? Yum!
Yes the handles look like Dame Edna's glasses. Lovely colour. I love the bowls - great colours. Mum has a set of orange ones that we usd to use all the time as kids. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous! And those bowls for $1 each, well you just can't pass them up at that price!
ReplyDeleteThe tea cups are adorable and look perfect there - it doesn't look overcrowded - there are still gaps to fill if you van see daylight is my motto!
ReplyDeleteThe bowls are so cheerful even stodgy porrige ( which I don't love but eat 'cos it is good for me) will taste good out of those!
